The journey begins. We spent our first day immersed in William the Conqueror's legacy. From the massive fortress to the two royal abbeys, Caen is a masterclass in history.
Dol to Mont St-Michel. Morning in Dol-de-Bretagne visiting the cathedral and the town, then up to Mont-Dol for the view. Afternoon in Cancale (Saint-Méen Church and Pointe du Grouin) before reaching the Mount.
Saint-Suliac to Saint-Malo. We explored the quiet streets of Saint-Suliac and its historic church before heading to the walled city of Saint-Malo to walk the ramparts and enter the Cathedral.
Dinan & Cap Fréhel. A deep dive into Dinan's medieval heart (Castle, St-Malo Church, St-Sauveur Basilica) followed by the wild finish at Plévenon for the lighthouse.
Vitré. We closed our journey in one of France's most impressive fortresses. The castle towers and the gothic lace of Notre-Dame Church were the perfect finale.
