An Unforgettable Stay in Grau-du-Roi

Our stay in Grau-du-Roi was truly a family adventure, combining relaxation, exploration, and cultural discoveries. We were fortunate to stay at Belambra Port Camargue, an ideal location to enjoy everything this beautiful region has to offer. The accommodation was comfortable and well-positioned, perfect for a family getaway with stunning views and facilities that catered to all our needs.

During our stay, we took the time to visit the charming village of Grau-du-Roi. This lively village, with its narrow picturesque streets and harbor, offers a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a family stroll. We also had the opportunity to take an electric boat trip. It was a unique and relaxing experience where we admired the breathtaking landscapes while enjoying the tranquility of the sea.

Among the highlights of our getaway, we visited the Château d’Avignon, a historic site that transported us back in time. We were amazed by the beauty of the place and its incredible views. Next, we explored the medieval ramparts of Aigues-Mortes, a fascinating village where every stone seemed to tell a story. The children had a great time imagining life during medieval times as they wandered through the narrow streets of the village.

Our itinerary also led us to Sommières, a charming little village where we strolled through its narrow streets and admired the magnificent Roman bridge. The region is full of hidden gems, and Sommières was a true discovery.

We continued our explorations with a visit to Arles, known for its Roman heritage and stunning historical sites. The city captivated us with its arenas, ancient theater, and beautiful squares.

Another must-see stop on our trip was the Maguelone Cathedral, located in the heart of nature, on a peninsula between lagoons and the sea. This serene place offered us a spiritual pause and a moment of reflection.

We also made a detour to La Garde, another delightful village where we enjoyed the local architecture and the authenticity of its small squares. This peaceful village provided a perfect moment of calm after the more lively visits.

On the way back from our excursions, Belambra Port Camargue was the ideal place to relax and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the region. After each busy day, we savored delicious meals and took the time to enjoy the club’s facilities, which were perfect for a family relaxation time.

Grau-du-Roi and its surroundings offered a multitude of memorable moments and a perfect balance between relaxation and culture. It is an ideal place for a family holiday, and we left with beautiful memories, eager to return and explore even more of this magnificent region.

Day 1: Arrival in Grau-du-Roi
