"Not exactly the "Sweet" experience we expected"
WWe were out in the city with our 4-year-old son on a gorgeous sunny day and thought we’d grab an ice cream at Gelateria Dolce Come. The place was packed because of the weather, but the experience was a total letdown.
Right when we walked in, the staff made us feel like we were a massive inconvenience. No smile, no welcome—nothing. For a place that sells sweets to families, the attitude was incredibly cold.
Then it got weirder. We asked for a fruity sundae and they told us they couldn't make one because "it’s not the season for ice cream." Seriously? The shop was full of people eating ice cream because it was a beautiful day, yet they acted like we were crazy for asking for a sundae with fruit.
If they can't handle a crowd or a simple request when it's busy, they shouldn't be open. We left feeling like they just didn't care. Next time we're in Luxembourg City, we're definitely going somewhere else.
