During our gourmet outing in Luxembourg City, we first tried our luck at Gelateria Dolce Come, where unfortunately the welcome was… as cold as the products on offer. We left a bit disappointed but determined to find a more welcoming spot. That’s when we rediscovered, with great pleasure, Café Veneziano, located just steps away in the heart of the city center.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was far warmer: smiles, attentiveness, and efficiency. Honestly, it felt like something had changed—as if the place had been taken over by a new manager. Everything was cleaner, better organized, and, above all, faster!
The wait time was very short, which is always appreciated, especially with a child. We were able to choose our ice creams freely, without any pressure or strange refusals, unlike our previous experience elsewhere.
And let’s talk about the ice cream: a true surprise! They were creamy, generous, perfectly balanced in flavor, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was just right. The fresh strawberries were excellent—sweet and bursting with flavor, adding a lovely touch of freshness that made all the difference.
You can feel that the establishment has improved in quality, both in service and in the products. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and it’s a genuinely pleasant place to spend time with family.
