"Good Food and Great Service, Just Watch Out for the Parking"
Finding a spot for authentic Indian and Bangladeshi flavors in Luxembourg led us to Bay of Bengal. Using a YouDeal voucher made it an even better discovery, as it’s a great way to explore the menu in Bonnevoie without a massive bill at the end.
A quick heads-up: the parking is a nightmare. Bonnevoie is notoriously difficult for cars, especially during dinner rushes. It’s smart to give yourself an extra 15 minutes to find a spot or just hop on a bus to save yourself the stress of circling the block.
The atmosphere inside is a complete shift from the busy streets outside. You're met with a warm, genuine welcome from a staff that clearly cares about hospitality. There’s no stiff formality here—the decor is modest and cozy, making it feel like a true neighborhood gem. The team was more than happy to walk us through the specialties and help us choose.
The food really delivered on those traditional spices. Starting with the crispy samosas and pakoras was the right move—they were perfectly seasoned and not greasy. The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and creamy, while the Lamb Rogan Josh had that deep, succulent flavor you only get from quality slow-cooking. We paired it all with Garlic Naan that was fresh out of the oven, soft enough to soak up every bit of sauce.
Looking back, it was a very satisfying meal with portions that actually fill you up. Between the friendly service and the quality of the kitchen, it's a place we’d definitely revisit, even at full price. Just make sure you plan your arrival around that parking situation!
