We visited Essenza during RestoDays and it felt like a total immersion into real Italian gastronomy. From the second we walked in, the welcome was warm and genuine—the kind of service where the staff actually goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect.
What really stands out here is the quality. You won’t find industrial pasta or frozen shortcuts at Essenza. Everything is homemade and artisanal. The pasta is made on-site using traditional methods, and you can really tell by the texture and taste. The vegetables are fresh-market quality, which makes every bite pop with flavor.
The service was where they truly shined. I ordered a dish with Sicilian sausage that turned out much spicier than I expected (it wasn't mentioned on the menu). Without me even asking, they replaced the dish for free, and the owner actually came over to apologize personally. That level of customer care is honestly rare these days.
I know some reviews mention the waiting time, but honestly? It’s because everything is prepared fresh from scratch. I’d much rather wait a few extra minutes for a quality meal than be rushed through my dinner just so they can flip the table. If you want a place where you can actually enjoy your food at your own pace, this is it. Essenza is easily one of the best Italian spots in Luxembourg.
