During our walk in Luxembourg City, we first tried to go to Gelateria Dolce Come. Unfortunately, the welcome was as cold as the ice cream, and we left pretty disappointed. But just a few steps away, we rediscovered Café Veneziano, and I’m so glad we did.
As soon as we walked in, we felt a completely different vibe: smiles, people who actually pay attention to you, and real efficiency. You can really tell that the management has changed. It’s cleaner, better organized, and way faster than before. When you’re with a child, that speed makes a huge difference. Unlike our experience just a few minutes earlier, we could choose our ice cream freely, with no pressure or weird refusals.
The ice cream itself was a great surprise—really creamy, generous portions, and the flavor was spot on. The fresh strawberries they used were excellent, sweet and full of taste.
You can truly feel the step up in quality here, both in the products and the service. It’s a relaxed and friendly place to spend time with your family. One tip: don’t pay attention to the old reviews on Google. With the new owner, it’s a different story now. It’s become one of our favorite spots in the city center for a quick and quality gourmet break.
