After exploring our cottage and sharing our first impressions of Center Parcs Les Ardennes, it was time to continue our series by visiting a place that always delights families: The Children’s Farm.
Tucked away in a peaceful, green area at the heart of the park, this small educational farm is like a breath of fresh air. Here, you forget about water slides, swimming pools, and playgrounds… it’s all about animals, walks, and simple discoveries.
A safe, accessible space for all
The Children’s Farm is easy to find — just a short walk from the central plaza or your cottage. The area is safe, well-maintained, and totally family-friendly, even for those with strollers.
You’ll meet all your farm favorites here: cheeky goats, peaceful sheep, fluffy rabbits, chickens… and of course, the ponies, which always steal the show with the little ones. Children can watch the animals, pet them, and during certain times of the day, help feed them under staff supervision.
A real family moment, far from the noise
What makes the Children’s Farm so special is its atmosphere. There’s no stressful noise, no overwhelming activities — just nature, animals, and happy kids. It’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy some quality time as a family.
Little ones discover the world of animals, older children relax, and parents can enjoy a peaceful walk while watching their kids’ faces light up.
A free activity for all park guests
Access to the Children’s Farm is completely free for Center Parcs Les Ardennes guests. It’s open daily, from morning until late afternoon. Just check the exact times on-site, as they can change depending on the season and weather.
My honest opinion
Honestly, while this may not be the first activity you see advertised in park brochures, the Children’s Farm is a hidden gem — especially if you’re visiting with kids.
It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down during a busy holiday, reconnect with nature, and give your little ones an experience they’ll remember.
You don’t need much to create beautiful memories: a rabbit hopping over, a sheep bleating, and your child’s face lighting up with excitement.
So, if you’re staying at Center Parcs Les Ardennes, don’t skip this little visit… your kids will thank you for it!
