A pleasant surprise during RestoDays at Brasserie-Bar B13, located in Bertrange, just outside Luxembourg City. Known for its laid-back atmosphere, this brasserie delivered a dining experience that stood out thanks to attentive service and well-balanced, flavorful dishes.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The service was remarkably friendly and professional, with a team that was attentive without being intrusive — a detail that greatly enhanced the evening.

To start, we enjoyed Belgian trout, which was fresh, delicately cooked, and accompanied by well-matched garnishes. It struck a nice balance between lightness and flavor. The fritto misto was crispy and satisfying, featuring a variety of seafood in a perfectly light batter. What really elevated the dish was the house-made herb mayonnaise — rich, fragrant, and incredibly tasty.
For dessert, we opted for an affogato, simple but well-executed. The contrast between the hot espresso and creamy vanilla ice cream provided a satisfying, light finish.
In short, Brasserie-Bar B13 is well worth a visit, especially if you value quality ingredients, precise cooking, and warm hospitality. It’s no surprise that many food lovers are inclined to share their impressions of this place — and it definitely deserves the praise.
