A Sunny Family Getaway in Le Pradet and Beautiful Discoveries in the South of France
For this family adventure, we chose to stay at the Belambra Club in Le Pradet, a beautiful location nestled between the sea, pine forests, and gentle hills. Surrounded by a preserved natural environment, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place, with easy access to beaches, family-friendly facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for recharging.
From our base, we set out to explore some of the region’s highlights. We started with a visit to Hyères, famous for its palm trees, charming historic center, and colorful little streets. The Provençal atmosphere, soft light, and sweet scents of the South immediately won us over.
We then headed to Toulon, a lively coastal city where we strolled along the bustling harbor and explored the shopping streets. We had planned to take the cable car to admire the view from Mont Faron, but unfortunately, it was closed that day. Still, we enjoyed the maritime ambiance and the relaxed pace of the city.
Our journey also took us inland to explore the beautiful perched villages of Le Castellet and La Cadière-d’Azur. Le Castellet, with its narrow, flower-lined medieval streets, and La Cadière-d’Azur, surrounded by rolling vineyards, offered breathtaking views and a true taste of Provençal charm.
Before heading back to Luxembourg, we made one last stop in Pierrelatte to visit La Ferme aux Crocodiles. This fascinating park allowed us to discover many species of reptiles in a lush tropical setting — a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
For the return trip, we made a well-deserved stop at the Ibis Hotel in Villefranche, ideally located for a restful night. The hotel provided all the comfort we needed to continue our journey the next day, refreshed and ready to go
This trip, based in Le Pradet and filled with stunning regional discoveries, was the perfect blend of relaxation, culture, and nature. We return home with wonderful memories and a strong desire to come back and explore even more of this welcoming and sun-drenched part of France.
