For this trip to Düsseldorf, we decided to stay with a local host – and what a fantastic choice it was! Christian Schatzinger welcomed us into a warm, comfortable, and beautifully kept apartment where we felt right at home… if not better!
The apartment is located in a car-free zone, offering peace and quiet – a real plus when traveling with kids. Just 50 meters away, there’s even a playground, which was perfect for our little one to burn off some energy while we relaxed.
And the real highlight? The breakfast. It wasn’t just a simple morning meal – it truly felt like we were being served at a 5-star hotel. Fresh ingredients, elegant presentation, and thoughtful touches made it an unforgettable start to our day.
The apartment itself is fully equipped, the bed super comfortable, and public transport is easily accessible, making it a great base for exploring the city. After long days discovering Düsseldorf, it was a peaceful retreat we were always happy to return to.
